Screw terminal to connect onto the electronic circuit board
1. 12-pole terminal (markings on printed circuit Ext. ; Pisc. ; Amb 1 ; Amb 2
; Del ; HP/HC)
Ext.
(a)
: Exterior temperature sensor (supplied; must be connected)
Pisc.
(b)
: Pool temperature sensor or aquastat
See § «Ambient temperature control of circuit 1» to set up circuit
1 pool temperature sensor
(1)
Amb 1 : Circuit 1 ambient temperature sensor (voltage-free dry contact,
not chrono-proportional nor PID, etc...)
or ambient temperature sensor with circuit 1 display
See § «Ambient temperature control of circuit 1» to set up circuit
1 pool temperature sensor
(1)
or circuit 1 pool flow rate monitor
Amb 2 : Circuit 2 ambient temperature sensor (voltage-free dry contact,
not chrono-proportional nor PID, etc...)
or circuit 2 domestic water aquastat
or circuit 2 water temperature sensor
See § «Ambient temperature control of circuit 2» to set up circuit
1 pool temperature sensor
or domestic water sensor for circuit 2
Del
: Load shedding input for partial or total restriction of operation
of the electrical back-up and of the Heat Pump in case of load
shedding or other domestic usage or input for «smart grid» operation.
Remove the existing red bridge and connect the voltage-free dry contact for load shedding.
Set parameter PAR.218
(2)
(see § «Setting operating parameters») which sets the degree of authorisation for operation of the
electrical back-up and of the Heat Pump (the factory settings correspond to complete load shedding of the Heat Pump and of the
electrical back-up). For «smart grid» operation see below.
HP / HC : Peak time/off-peak time input (or electricity provider contact) for partial or total restriction of operation of the Heat Pump or of the
electrical backup during peak times, or input for the lowering of frost protection or eco mode or input for «smart grid» operation.
Remove the existing electrical bridge abd connect the dry contact for peak time/off peak time operation, or the ambient
temperature lessening contact (voltage-free).
Set parameter PAR.217
(2)
(see § «Setting operating parameters») which sets the degree of authorisation for operation of the
electrical back-up and of the Heat Pump (the factory settings correspond to load shedding of the electrical back-up only).
The HP / HC and DEL contacts can also be used for EJP load shedding. When programming PAR.217 or PAR.218 to 7, only the boiler
will be authorised to operate when the dry contact is open.
Smart Grid : (exclusively with ambient temperature sensor(s) and/or water temperature sensor), set parameter P217 = 10, operation follows
the 4 modes of operation of the HP / HC and DEL contacts :
(1)
: In the case of a permanent pool ( winter).
If the pool is not for permanent use, use the summer pool control kit (Ref. 751006).
(2)
: If both parameters PAR.217 and PAR.218 are activated at the same time, the degree of authorisation with the lowest power is the one
which is retained in case of simultaneous load shedding on both inputs.
2. 2-pole terminal (marking on printed circuit Chaud.)
Chaud. : All or nothing exit (dry contact) to connect onto the ambient temperature thermostat input of the existing boiler.
See § «Choice of back-up» for the set-up of the back-up boiler.
The boiler usually controls its own circulator.
If it does not, relay the dry contact exit «chaud»
so as to supply 1 relay to 2 contacts :
- the 1
st
contact (NO) serves to start the boiler’s burner
(ambient temperature thermostat input).
- the 2
nd
contact changeover switch at stopping serves
to supply the boiler’s heating circulator and to
maintain it in operation due to a changeover
(approximately 5 minutes).
3. 2-pole terminal (marking on printed circuit BUS)

Pilot connection using a 2-core sheathed cable (10m length supplied, 20m length available as an optional
extra - Ref. : 751005).
3.5.2 - Pilot control connections
• To avoid disturbances in the readings of the sensors by the regulator, wire the control lines independently
from the supply cable lines of the electricity network (duct, cable route) and avoid the derivation boxes.
• The conductors must be made of electrolytic copper (no oxidation of the stripped wires for connection).
• The use of telephone wire is prohibited (multi-strand sections are weaker and lead to easily broken connections).
• Control cable sectionss must be between 0.5mm
2
and 1mm² wide.
For standard installation with 1 radiator circuit, it is necessary to connect the exterior temperature sensor
(a)
and the ambient temperature thermostat
(b)
.
