Removing the Battery Pack: (See Fig 34.) 

1. First, make sure the player is  in the “Stop” mode and that the AC power 

supply has been disconnected. 

2. Press the release tabs on the sides of the battery.  

3. Pull the battery pack to disconnect it from the unit.
