Single Zone IR Connecting Block Package
The IRB-4 provides a convenient connecting point for a
remote relay system, eliminating hard-wiring. Multiple
IRTargets can be connected in parallel (up to 12) to the
screw-down connector. We recommend running 4
conductor "home runs" from each room to the
equipment stack and either connect directly to the IRB-
4 or use our IR-TB termination block (see page R-25).
Each emitter and the power supply have their own plug-
in jacks. Up to (4) additional hard-wired emitters can
be used from the auxiliary emitter jack by utilizing the
IRS-1 expander plug (shown above). The IRB-4 is also
available in a package that includes everything needed
for a single zone infrared system.

The IRStation eliminates hand wiring in a Remote Relay system. Although hand wiring
can create good connections, if a component is damaged or interference occurs, every
wire must be disconnected, everything tested and then carefully rebuilt. Good system
design includes foresight---someday, something might go wrong.
With the addition of the IRStation to a Remote Relay system, connections are made
quickly and simply with built-in screw down connectors and plug-in terminals. Better
yet, if something is wrong, troubleshooting LED's quickly lead to the solution.

plug-in jacks. Connecting time can be measured in seconds instead of minutes!
Identifies Damaged Bugs and Floods
as every IR emitter has its own visible LED which flashes to verify operation.
Locates Damaged Targets.
Whenever an IRTarget receives any kind of signal, the LEDs on the IRStation will blink. Thus, a
problem with IRTargets receiving a remote's command is quickly diagnosed. By unplugging one IRTarget after another, the room
with trouble is quickly identified.
The New IRZ-1
has all the great features of the IRStation and adds IR
routing from two(2) to six(6) zones. Both unidirectional and bi-
directional routing is available depending on "in the field" configuration.
Routing control is provided by four simple to use shunts. Gold plated
header pins are used for maximum signal integrity. The auxiliary emitter
expansion port allows more hardwired emitter outputs (4 max.) than the
standard 6 plug-in type. Expansion requires the optional 1/8" expander
plug, IRS-1. The IRZ-1 is available in chassis style only.
The New IRAMPStation
adds an amplifier to the
standard IRStation. Now you can connect a standard
IRStation to this new version and power up to 12
emitters! So if your system requires more emitters than
our standard IRStation can handle, step up to the
IRAMPStation. You will enjoy the same ease of
installation and trouble free operation you've come to
expect....only with more power.
