The A+B-2 and A+B-2D selector switcher provides the ability to choose between two
separate sources such as a receiver or an amplifier.  The unit allows the user to choose between
two separate stereo speaker pairs.  This switching enables the music to be transferred to  speaker
pair A in one location or speaker pair B in another location or simultaneously on both pairs in
each location.   The in-wall design allows the unit to be mounted in any convenient location
between the speakers and receiver/amplifier.

A+B-2 & A+B-2D SELECTOR SWITCH

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power Rating:        5 Amps continuous
Connectors:           Screw tight type, non-removable
Mounting:              Fits most standard single junction boxes
Contacts:               Silver cadmium

INSTALLATION:

Note that the left and the right grounds (-) are completely seperate to avoid instability

problems with amplifiers which have isolated grounds. Care should be taken that speaker
impedance should match amplifier. Any problems can be safely eliminated with our
MATCHIT(TM) or  OPTIMATCH(TM) impedance correctors.

To make connection, strip about 1/4" of insulation from the wire ends, and twist the

loose strands together tightly so that no loose wire strands stick out to cause possible short
circuits! Insert the wires from the amplifier into the INPUT openings of the connector, hot to hot
and ground to ground, then tighten screws. Similarly, connect speaker wires to the control
OUTPUT openings.
