When this parameter is enabled and an incoming SIP
INVITE message is received containing information
that informs the phone to automatically answer the
call, the phone answers the call immediately or after
a timeout, depending on the auto-answer type
specified in the INVITE message:
Phone answers after a timeout:
The phone
automatically answers the call after a timeout if
the INVITE message includes a SIP Call-Info
header with a tag value,
answer-after=
set to a
number representing the timeout. During the
timeout interval, the phone rings normally. If the
call is answered or rejected during this interval,
then the automatic answering mechanism is not
used. However, if the phone is left to ring
throughout the timeout interval, it automatically
answers the call once this timeout expires.
Phone answers immediately:
The phone
answers the call immediately in any of the
following cases:
If the SIP Alert-Info header contains the tag
value
ring answer
.
If the SIP Alert-Info header contains the tag
value
info=alert-autoanswer
.
Note:
If the SIP Call-Info header includes all the above
answer types or any two different types (i.e.,
answer-after=
,
ring answer
, and
alert-
autoanswer
), the answer-after= type takes
precedence.
If there is an existing call when an INVITE
message for automatic answer is received, the
existing call is automatically put on hold.
voip/talk_event/enabled
Enables the 'talk' event feature.

The phone automatically answers an incoming call if
it receives a SIP NOTIFY message with the 'talk'
event. If a call is already in progress, the call is put
on hold and the incoming call is answered.
