1.0 INTRODUCTION
Thanks for purchasing this digital audio converter from Audio Authority.
The 979T converts stereo analog audio signals to digital pulse code
modulated audio signals, and the Model 979R converts digital audio
to stereo analog audio signals. These products are useful when audio
equipment to be interconnected does not have matching audio signal
facilities. These converters are also useful when pre-installed audio
wiring requires stereo audio to travel over one coaxial cable.
Each converter houses high-performance audio A-to-D or D-to-A circuitry
in a small, mountable package. The Model 979R accepts 44.1KHz to 192
KHz PCM audio inputs. Model 979T is factory-set for 48KHz output but
also allows 96KHz sample rate to be selected by internal jumper.
