Transmission Tightening Specifications

Note

♦

The tightening specifications apply only to lightly greased,

oiled, phosphated or blackened nuts and bolts.

♦

Additional lubricant such as engine oil or transmission fluid

may be used, but do not use graphite lubricant.

♦

Do not use any ungreased parts.

♦

Tightening specification tolerance ± 15%.

Driveshaft Heat Shield - Tightening Specification

Note

♦

Depending on the date of manufacture, an additional drive‐

shaft heat shield -B- may be attached.

♦

The shape of the additional heat shield depends on the engine

and on the date of manufacture.

♦

Mark the installed position of the additional heat shield -A- be‐

fore removing it.

– Note the marking when installing the heat shield -B-.
– Tighten the driveshaft heat shield bolts -1, 2 and 3- to 23 Nm.
