Preferred Mounting Location:
•
Away from metal fixtures, objects and equipment; including HVAC ducts (vents), kitchen equipment (stoves, microwaves, overhead fans and
refrigerators/freezers)
•
Centrally located in the desired installation space
•
Preferably on painted drywall (gypsum) or masonry block
To Mount the Device:
1. Press and hold the activation button for a count of 2 seconds
2. Remove the red adhesive protective film from the mounting adhesive
3. Place the device approximately 4 feet off the floor, with long side in a vertical orientation (place with the round sides up and down)
4. For optimal performance make sure the slot that is cut into the rounded side is facing in the downward direction toward the floor
5. Press and hold the device firmly against the wall for a count of 3 seconds (this will allow the adhesive to adhere permanently to the surface)
