Technician Procedures

Replace a Pallet Encoder Strip Assembly

1. Remove the pallet from the SuperTrak conveyance platform.

See

Remove a Pallet

on page 193.

2. Loosen the two (2) set screws on the side

of the pallet.

There is one set screw on each side of the
pallet.

3. Remove the two (2) screws, two (2) lock

washers, and two (2) flat washers that
secure the pallet encoder strip assembly
in position.

Pallet encoder strips can be damaged by magnets. Never clean a pallet
encoder strip with a magnet.
