This housing is not intended for deep diving use. It is rated as waterproof to a depth of 33-feet (10
meters). If taken deeper, the water pressure will force water into the housing. Use of this housing at any
depth is done at your own risk.

BASIC SETUP
●
Remove the underwater housing from the packaging and place it on a table or clear workspace where
you will be able to set it up easily.
●
Before anything else, check to make sure that the two red, main O-Rings are in place.
○
The one around the back side of the housing.
○
The one located on the front of the housing, where the lens port will be attached.
●
Next, you will position the clear backplate over the rear of the housing and lock it into place using the
four metal clips on the corners of the housing.
○
It is a good idea to go around to each clip and apply a little extra pressure after you have locked
all of them down. This is just to ensure the clips are locked in place properly.
●
You are now ready to connect your lens port to the camera housing. (This is a separate rental item)
○
Simply thread the lens port into the front of the underwater camera housing.
○
Once threaded down and when it feels tight, give the port an extra turn for good measure. We
suggest using two hands for a little extra strength when making that final turn. You don’t need to
worry about over-tightening the lens port. It’s important to make sure there is a proper seal
between the lens port and the camera housing.

Now that you have your back plate secured and your lens port attached, it is time to test the housing for
any leaks BEFORE you place your camera in the housing.
○
Simply place the housing under the water in either a pool, bucket or a bathtub filled with water.
○
Hold the housing under the water for at least 10 to 20 seconds, about an arm’s length away.
○
Bring the housing up out of the water. Make sure the seal looks tight and that no water has
entered the housing.
○
Repeat this process at least 2 or 3 times, until you feel confident the equipment is in good shape
and ready to use.

It’s time to disassemble the underwater housing and get to work with your camera!
○
First step to disassembly is to dry off the housing using a clean towel.
○
After dry, you’ll want to remove your lens port. When doing this, point the housing with the lens
port facing down and unscrew the lens port. This will help prevent any water or debris that may
be trapped in the threads from running back into the underwater housing.
○
You can then disengage the back clips and remove the backplate.
○
Wipe down any water or debris that may be left on the housing before going to the next step.
