USING THE THERMOMETER
1.
Remove the cap on the tip of probe before use.
2.
Press “ON/OFF” button to activate the unit.
3.
Two readings are displayed simultaneously. Current temperature is
shown on the left side. Set temperature, which is relatively smaller in
digital size, is shown on the right side.
4.
Put the tip of the probe to the detectable object. Sensible section of
the probe is about 2cm from the tip.
5.
Press again “ON/OFF” button to turn off.
6.
Clean the tip and put on the cap after use.
USING THE ALARM
7.
Default target temp. Is set at 50°C (122°F). Press “+” or “-” for a fast
increment or decrement.
8.
Press “SET/STOP” button for stand-by mode. Then will show on
the display.
9.
The alarm will sound when the current temp. is equal to or greater
than the target one.
10.
When alarm sounds, press “SETP/STOP” button to stop. Then will
disappear.
11.
Under stand-by mode, the target temperature can’t be changed.
Press “+” and “-” together to leave the stand-by mode and set the
target temperature again the default.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
12.
Open the battery cover on the back with a coin.
13.
Remove the old battery and replace a new one. The positive side “+”
of the battery must face towards battery cover.
14.
Remember to put back the rubber rung before closing the battery
cover.
