To allow your SW550X device to properly connect to the Internet and be able to resolve for a host over the
Internet, you must specify Preferred DNS

After finish configuring the
Network Settings
, please click on
Save & Apply
button to keep the change that you
have made and to apply your setting
.
A pop

up window with a message
“
Please wait for a while
…”
will appear
briefly
.
Then, another pop

up window with message
“
The settings have been completed
”
will be displayed
.
When
the saving and applying
are finished, the pop
-
up window will disappear and the web browser will be redirected to
the
Operation Mode
page
.
If you want to cancel the change and reset all changes back to their original values,
just click the
Cancel
button
.

Web configuration

Wireless Settings
4.4.1
Wireless Profiles
Starting from firmware version V3
.
XX, each wireless profile can be directly set from the profile webpage
.
Users no
longer need to set wireless profile through the Basic Setting
(
see next subsection
).
When the Wireless Profile
is
enabled by checking the Enabled box and clicking Apply button behind the Wireless Profile option, there will be an
Add button under the
AP List for adding new wireless profile as shown below
.

This will bring up the Basic Settings List webpage as shown in in the next page for entering the necessary
information of each wireless profile
.
Description of each field can be found in the next subsection
.
When entering
all necessary information of the wireless profile, click Save button at the bottom
.
Users are allowed to save up to
ten wireless connection profiles or list of network names
or SSIDs
(
called AP List
)
inside SW550X
.
SW550X will
retry each and every enabled profile
(
network name or SSID
)
for one minute before continuing to the next profile if
the current profile failed to connect
.
You can use the Sort column to adjust the precedence of the profiles
.
However, this function is disabled by default
.
