Application
Utilize Atlas Sound WD Series slope-front loudspeaker/baf fle packages
for a wide variety of surface-mount ap pli ca tions where aesthetics and
high-quality sound reproduction are pri ma ry con cerns. This at trac tive
model series has been installed in offices, con fer ence cen ters,
re cep tion ar eas, class rooms, lecture halls, and retail out lets.
General Description
WD Series. These loudspeaker/baffle packages feature a walnut grain
wall baffle/enclosure with an attractive black fabric grille (Atlas Sound
Model 417-WD). Baffles are designed with a 9.5� slope to provide
di rec tion al sound dis per sion offset in the direction of ra di a tion. Units
are con struct ed of durable par ti cle board and fin ished with a walnut
grain vinyl covering.
Each package contains a high-quality 8" dia. loudspeaker with a
5-ounce ce ram ic mag net and exhibits a wide fre quency response
with low dis tor tion. A pre-assembled transformer is available in 25V
and dual-voltage (25V/70.7V) versions with four power taps (refer to
model/package descriptions below). Each package is also avail able
with a 50
Ω
pot volume con trol for individual loud speak er ad just ment
(specify mod els with “V” suffix). Knob may be removed and volume
adjusted with a screwdriver to provide additional security if required.
