7.2

Air filter

Location of air filter

Air filter, GA 5 VSD up to GA 11 VSD

Procedure

1. Stop the compressor and close the air outlet valve. Switch off the voltage.
2. Remove the cover of air filter (AF) by turning it anti-clockwise. Remove the filter element. If

necessary, clean the cover.

3. Fit the new element and the cover.
4. After carrying out all service actions in the relevant ‘Service Plan’, reset the service warning;

see section 

Service menu.

Oil and oil filter change

Warning

The operator must apply all relevant 

Safety precautions

.

Always drain the compressor oil at all drain points. Used oil left in the compressor can
contaminate the oil system and can shorten the lifetime of the new oil.
Never mix lubricants of different brands or types as they may not be compatible and the
oil mix will have inferior properties. A label, indicating the type of oil filled ex-factory, is
stuck on the air receiver/oil tank.
