4000 (1) A If Atlas Copco Roto-Inject Fluid is used, change oil and oil filter.
4000 A Replace air filter element.
4000 A Replace oil separator.
4000 A For GA 11 VSD: regrease drive motor.
8000 (2) B If Atlas Copco Roto-Xtend Duty Fluid is used, change oil and oil filter.
8000 B Check pressure and temperature readings.
8000 B Carry out a LED/display test.
8000 B Check for possible air leakage.
8000 B Clean coolers.
8000 B If provided, remove, dismantle and clean float valve of condensate
trap. See section
Condensate system .
8000 B Test temperature shut-down function.
8000 B Test safety valves.
8000 B Replace V-belts.
8000 B Have air inlet valve and minimum pressure valve inspected by Atlas
Copco.

The indicated oil exchange intervals are valid for standard operating conditions (see section
Reference conditions and limitations ) and nominal operating pressure (see section Compressor
data ). Exposure of the compressor to external pollutants, operation at high humidity combined
with low duty cycles or operation at higher temperatures may require a shorter oil exchange
interval. Contact Atlas Copco if in doubt.
Important
• Always consult Atlas Copco if a timer setting has to be changed.
• For the change interval of oil and oil filter in extreme conditions of temperature,
humidity or cooling air, consult your Atlas Copco Customer Centre.
• Any leakage should be attended to immediately. Replace damaged hoses or
gaskets.
6.2 Oil specifications
In order to achieve the best machine performance and guarantee the reliability, it is required to
use genuine Atlas Copco Lubricants. Their tailor made formulation is the result of years of field
experience, research and in-house development. Consult the Spare Parts list for part number
information.
