3 2 Commissioning the appliance
•
The installation and first commissioning of the heat
pump must be performed by a qualified installer. This
person will also instruct you on how to start and run
the heat pump
•
Ensure that the installation is correctly filled with water
and properly drained and that the pressure measured
by the pressure gauge is sufficient (1 to 1.5 bar).
• Close the installation's main circuit breakers
In winter, or after long shutdown periods, close the
installation's main circuit breakers (power supply
to the outdoor unit) a few hours before activating
the heating demand to allow the compressor to
pre-heat

WITHOUT room thermostat
Once your installer has commissioned your installation:
• Set the current date and time (see §
)
• Select the programming mode for heating (and for
cooling if your installation is equipped with the cooling
)
• Set the temperature setpoints where necessary (see §
)
• Select the DHW programming mode (if the installation
is equipped with a domestic hot water tank and
electrical back-up) (see §
