Chapter 5. System Configuration

Cascade

The Cascade page is used to set up the boundless switching with Cascade.

Click “Cascade” under “System Management” in the side menu to bring out the
information page.

The meanings of the Cascade entries are explained in the table below:

Finishing Up

After entering the required entries, be sure to click “Save”.

Entry

Explanation

Enable cascade
with boundless
switching

Check/uncheck to enable/disable the cascade with boundless
switching. The default is Disabled.

IP Address

Enter the IP address of the KA8270 / KA8278 / KA8280 / KA8288
that you wish to do boundless switching with your Parent Unit from.

User Name

Key in the administrator username.

Password

Key in the administrator password.

Status

Status shows the cascade connection from Not connected /
Cascaded with KA8270, KA8278, KA8280, or KA8288(IP) /
Connecting.
