Chapter 3. Basic Operation

Extended Desktops

The extended desktops allows you to extend your computer video source into
a quad view display mode. Please make sure the following requirements are
met before enabling the extended desktops function.



Upgrade the Multi-View KVMP™ Switch’s firmware to firmware version
v2.3.222 or later.



Make sure the connected computers are running Windows 10 operating
system.



Make sure the Multi-View KVMP™ Switch is running quad view display
mode.



Make sure the configuration of the main and extended display on
Windows OS is identical to the OSD settings.

To enable extended desktop, follow the steps below.

Note:

When connecting the extended desktop PCs, make sure the main
desktop PC is connected to the Multi-View KVMP™ Switch with the
USB DVI/HDMI KVM cable. The extended desktop PCs are only
required to connect the video (DVI/HDMI) connector to the Multi-
View KVMP™ Switch.

1. Invoke the on-screen display (OSD) Menu by doing one of the following.



Press the OSD (Esc) button located on the Multi-View KVMP™
Switch’s front panel.



Move the cursor to the top of the OSD to display the Quick Access Bar,

and click
