How to Name the Report
You name the report in the Query Name field on the Report Builder screen.
Guidelines for the Report Name Field
Use the following guidelines to enter the report name into this field:

The Report Name field is a required field.
■
You can enter up to 55 characters from the keyboard.
If you enter a report name, you must press
Enter
so Fault Management
knows you a creating new report specifications.
■
You can select a pre-existing report name from the pull-down list.
If you select a report name from the list, Fault Management fills the other
fields on the screen with data from the report specifications file on your
hard drive.
■
You can edit your selection from the pull-down list to create a new report
name.
How to Select the Table to Search
Report Builder can retrieve PBX information from one of the following tables in the
Fault Management database:
■
Alarms
■
Circuit Packs
■
DS1 Circuit Packs
■
Errors

Use the following guidelines when you select a table:

The Table to Search field is a required field that controls the search criteria
for the report.
