Feed Alignment Roller Latch
Occasionally, during normal feeding, the Feed Alignment
Roller [A] ( which normally helps keep the media aligned )
may start pulling the media out of line. The Roller Latch
[B] allows the Roller to be locked up out of the way so it
will not affect the feed. The Feed Alignment Roller is
mounted in the Feed Head Assembly
[C] .
1. Unlatch and open the Feed Head Assembly.
2. Locking the Roller. Pull up the Feed Alignment
Roller Tab [D] . Slide Roller Latch [E] to the left to
lock Roller in the raised position.
3. Releasing the Roller [F]. Slide Latch [G] to the
right so Roller Assembly moves freely.
NOTE: Normal position is unlocked. Locking the Roller should only be used if media seems to be
pulled out of line due to the action of this Roller.
Adjusting Print Engine Position for Wider Media
Print Engine can be moved manually up to 1/2"
toward operator side to adjust position of print area
for media over 8.5"/215.9mm wide.
1. Open Storage Cabinet Door. Two Print
Engine Locking Knobs
[A] are located on
top of storage space.
2. Unlock two knobs.
3. Print Engine will slide up to 1/2" to the side
[B] . Position as needed.
4. Tighten Locking Knobs.
NOTE: Default or “home” position –
pushed to end of adjustment slot toward
non-operator side.
