Connecting Optional High Capacity Receiving Tray/Stacker
Optional High Capacity Receiving Tray/Stacker is designed to work automatically with M2 Printer, but can
be operated semi-automatically with other printers.
Connecting to an M2 Printer:
1. Plug power cord into power receptacle on Receiving Tray. Plug
other end into Auxiliary Power Receptacle on feed end of Printer
or into a grounded wall outlet.
2. Align Receiving Tray with Printer Exit. Fit alignment peg on
Printer into slot on Tray [A] .
3. Connect Interface Cable to Motorized Tray and M2 Printer
Interface ports
[B] .
4. Turn Tray's power ON . Tray automatically moves to
“Home”
or
“Ready”
position. You can also press UP and DOWN buttons
simultaneously to position Tray if necessary. NOTE: Tray moves
automatically when power is first turned on, after that, Tray will
move into position automatically any time Printer is ready to print.
5. Check that Media Guide Stop is touching Receiving Tray [C] .
If not, slide Media Guide down so Stop touches Tray.
DO NOT adjust Stop.
6. Turn Adjusting Knob [D] to unlock Backstop. Use one piece of
media and/or the scale on Control Panel to set Backstop for media
length. Adjust Media Guide
[E] to fit media width.
Before operating, check that Receiving Tray/Stacker Base is clear:

TO AVOID RISK OF INJURY OR DAMAGE
DO NOT PLACE ITEMS ON BASE OF RECEIVING TRAY!
CAUTION
DO NOT USE ADAPTER PLUGS OR EXTENSION CORDS TO CONNECT
RECEIVING TRAY TO WALL RECEPTACLE.
DO NOT USE OUTLETS CONTROLLED BY WALL SWITCHES.
DO NOT USE OUTLETS THAT SHARE THE SAME CIRCUIT WITH LARGE
ELECTRICAL MACHINES OR APPLIANCES
