ESCRIPTION

This chapter describes the 6710D material handling assemblies for feeding, grinding, and discharging the material.
Supporting systems include the engine, clutch, and hydraulics as well as the electronic controls and the drive tracks.

Machine Overview

The machine uses an array of advanced, heavy-duty
mechanisms for reducing the following materials:

•

Construction and demolition debris

•

Land clearing slash

•

Urban wood waste

•

Scrap lumber and pallets

•

Tree stumps

•

Lumber mill yard waste

•

Wet leaves and grass

•

Other green waste

Whole, irregular, or piece materials are fed into the
machine, where a rotor grinds the materials to a cus-
tomer-specified size.
