4.1.7 Disposable products

Dispose of all articles intended for

single use (such as the disposable

liner ‘OneWay’ as well as the external
bacterial filter) in a proper manner
(see chapter 6.3).

4.2 Maintenance and Service

Risk due to maintenance and service

during operation
It is not permitted to perform main-
tenance and service while the device
is in use!

Risk due to the performance of

maintenance and service by non-

authorized persons
Maintenance and service must only
be performed by specialized person-
nel authorized by ASSKEA GmbH or
by ASSKEA itself.

ATTENTION: It is not permitted to

modify the device!

• The ASSKEA secretion aspirators MPlus-

series are maintenance-free, if used accor-
ding to the instruction for use, exempt from
components with limited durability.

• Perform a visual and functional check prior

to each application. Also include the acces-
sories of the device in doing so.

• Opening of the device and repairs must

only be performed by ASSKEA GmbH or
by specialized personnel authorized by
ASSKEA GmbH in compliance with the ser-
vice documentation specified by the manu-
facturer as well as with technical and hygie-
nic precautionary measures.

• The device may be sent back for repair to

ASSKEA GmbH directly or via the specialty
dealer you purchased the device from.

• Clean and disinfect all accessories prior to

returning the device. The device itself must
be treated with a surface disinfectant.

• Please notify ASSKEA GmbH prior to re-

turning the device to prevent time lags and
mark the shipping carton with the ‘Used
Medical Device’ label.

found on the web page of ASSKEA GmbH
at www.asskea.de in the service area under
Product return.
