1. Prepare door according to template and instruction sheet supplied with exit device
2. Verify 1-1/8” mortise cylinder (size 41) is installed in rail insert with collar prior to installing exit

device on door

TO ADD OR REMOVE CYLINDER

1. Ensure power is disconnected
2. Separate circuit board and ground wire from mounting insert by

removing the four (4) screws from the under side

3. Once separated, slide cylinder through

collar into the insert as shown

NOTE: Orientation of the cylinder

Secure the cylinder with cylinder nut.

Tighten firmly
4. Re-attach circuit board and ground wire

to mounting insert with four (4) screws
5. Operate cylinder and verify cam is

operating switch properly
