Manual configuration
It is not possible to use the earlier described automatic
configuration in all installations. For example if you don’t have
any DNS or DHCP server in the network or if parts of the
installation is outside a firewall.
At a manual configuration you do all the settings yourself and
administer the addresses in the system. The manual settings
regarding the control unit is made from a terminal software on a
computer, connected with a USB cable to LCU9101.
Drivers for the USB communication with LCU9101.
USB cable: Type A to Mini type B.
In order to connect the control unit to the control unit the drivers
must be loaded to the computer, see below.
Installation of drivers for USB configuration
LCU9101 automatically starts a serial console on the USB port
when it is connected to a computer with the correct driver
installed.

out several times. When you disconnect the cable you should
restart
your terminal software.
Unpack the zip file “drivers LCU9101 USB”, located on the support
web, to a folder on the computer.
Installation in Windows XP:
Connect the unit to the USB port and select “Install from a list or
specific location (advanced)”. On the next page you check
“Include this location in the search” and browse to the folder with
the drivers. When Windows says that the driver isn’t certified,
select “Continue anyway” and finish the installation.
Windows Vista:
When you connect the unit the Found new hardware wizard is
started.
