5.3.1 CPU Configuration
Intel SpeedStep Technology
Intel SpeedStep technology is Intel’s new power saving technology. Processors can
switch between multiple frequencies and voltage points to enable power saving.
The default value is [Enabled]. Configuration options: [Enabled] and [Disabled].
If you install Windows® OS and want to enable this function, please set this item
to [Enabled]. This item will be hidden if the current CPU does not support Intel
SpeedStep technology.
CPU C States Support
Enable CPU C States Support for power saving. It is recommended to keep C1, C6
and C7 all enabled for better power saving.
Intel Virtualization Technology
When this option is set to [Enabled], a VMM (Virtual Machine Architecture) can utilize
