Instructions
1.
When using the Dog Palace Floor Heater in a dog house or kennel or other enclosed space, make
certain the heater does not occupy more than one half of the floor space.( this will allow the Pet
to remove itself from the pad)
2.
ASL Products now provide knockout plugs so the cord goes directly out the back of house. Place
heater in back half of the house.
3.
Place heater on flat surface (it is ok for the heater to be placed on bedding provided the bedding
provides a firm flat surface).
4.
Do not place bedding on top of heater the animal should lay directly on the heater pad.
5.
If your pet has sensitive skin, do not allow it to lie directly on heater.
6.
Because of Dog Palace houses’ superior insulation characteristics, we recommend the use of the
Floor Heater only when the sustained outside temperature is below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. When
the sustained temperature is above 20 degrees Fahrenheit and unit is in our insulated dog house,
we recommend unplugging the Floor Heater for maximum pet comfort.
7.
When using electrical appliances please follow basic safety precautions including but not limited
to the following:
Safety
1.
Use only with 110-120 ac properly grounded outlets.
2.
Outlet must have a ground fault interrupter in circuit.
3.
Make certain if your pet has sensitive skin that it does not lie directly on heater.
4.
Always unplug heater from outlet when not in use.
5.
Use Floor Heater only for intended use.
6.
Do not immerse cord, plug or heater in water or any other liquid.
7.
Do not puncture pad.
8.
When heater is used in enclosed area make certain Heater covers no more than one half of the
floor space.
9.
At the end of the season remove heater, inspect for damage to cord or heater, store unit safely
away from pet or environment dangers.
10.
Do not immerse in water!
