All installation work (electrical connection etc.)
must be performed by qualified professionals
and comply with all applicable standards and
laws. Work performed by persons with insufficient
knowledge can impair the cooktop's performance
and result in personal injury and material damage.
Before connecting the cooktop to the electrical
supply, ensure that:
• The electrical supply matches the specifications
on the rating plate on the bottom of the
cooktop.
• The electrical supply is fitted with a functioning
earth in compliance with applicable standards
and laws.
• The electrical earth cable is 2 cm longer than
the other cables. Earthing the appliance is a
legal requirement.
NB:
The cooktop components operate on 230 V.

General
If an oven or other appliance that generates
a great deal of heat is installed under a glass
ceramic cooktop with touch control, the other
appliance and the ceramic cooktop must be
suitably ventilated and isolated. The isolation is to
ensure that any heat from the oven passing the
right side of the cooktop's bottom plate, under
the control electronics, does not exceed 60°C
when the oven is used. If this precaution is not
taken, the cooktop may malfunction (the safety
switch will trigger).
NB:
The cooktop must be completely disconnected
from its power source during all installation work.
