TROUBLESHOOTING
Please read through following advise on what
you can do if you have a problem with your
cooktop. If you need further help, contact your
nearest service center. Never do anything with
the cooktop that might cause personal injury or
material damage.
If the glass surface cracks or you encounter
any other major damage, turn off the cooktop
immediately by shutting down the power ie
switch off the power point or remove the fuse
from the fuse box.
The cooktop does not start
1. Check that the fuse has not blown.
2. Check that the cooktop is properly plugged in.
3.Check the lock function. If it is activated, unlock.
4. Have you pressed the on/off button long
enough?
5. Make sure nothing is covering the control panel.
6. Check if the temperature of the control panel
exceed 60.
The cooktop's heating zones do not
work/cannot be changed
1. Push the on/off button again. The cooktop will
automatically switch off 10 seconds after you
push the on’off button unless it is in use.
2. Make sure the right zone is active.
3. Check the lock function. If it is activated, unlock.
There is a noise when the heating
zones heat up
This is completely normal and will cease once the
heating zone has warmed up.
The cooktop is patchy
This can be due to:
1. Pan with a base in an unsuitable material.
2. cooktop cleaned incorrectly.
See "ADVICE AND TIPS" for more information.
It takes a long time to boil or fry food
1. Pan with unsuitable base, e.g., patterned or
rough.
2. Pan base curves in or out (poor surface contact).
3. Glass and porcelain pans take longer to heat
than metal pans.
4. The heating zone is dirty.
