AXM57104

TSN Ethernet Switch PCIe Card User Guide

Reference Design User Guide

Go to

“

Application/BootUp

” under AXM57104 BSP working directory.

Modify the

“

AXM57104_Init.sh

” file for assign role of target.

Figure 12 - 2

Assign

“

ROLE_OF_TARGET

” field to related target. The value “0” is normal init so that it won’t setup

environment for demo requirement. The value

“1” is for

PC1

, the value

“2” as so on.

While install the boot up service for

PC3

, don

’t forget to assign “

IF_PKTGEN

” for generate noise (ex: Intel

I210 -> enp5s0) and connect the Ethernet port of

“

IF_PKTGEN

” to port 1 of AXM57104.

After finish modification, type below command in

PC1

PC2

PC3

for install related boot up service.

# make install

# reboot

After PC1 / PC2 / PC3 boot up, go to

“

ASIX_Demo

” under AXM57104 BSP working directory.

Decompress the package

“ASIX_demo_vX.X.X.tar.bz2” by type command in console:

# tar

–jxvf ASIX_demo_vX.X.X.tar.bz2

Enter the package folder:

# cd ASIX_demo_vX.X.X

Type command for install ASIX_demo service:

# make install

In the

PC2

, copy

“

VLC_Server

” folder from “

Application/ASIX_Demo

” to a specified directory.

Modify the correct directory of

“

send_stream.sh

” file under the “VLC_Server” folder.

Enter the

VLC_Server

” folder and type below command in console

WITHOUT

root authority:

# sh ./send_stream.sh
