Usage
• Assemble the wind protectors, put the smaller one on the ground with the narrow side up,
and place the larger one on top.
• Put the burner, with the lid twisted off, in the smaller wind protector.
• Fill with fuel and light.
Warning
•
Before using the stove, always check that the fuel container is intact.
The stove should not
be used if the fuel container is damaged because fuel leaks create a major fire and safety hazard.
• Only use fuel that is intended for spirit stoves!
•
Risk of explosion!
Never re-fill a burner before it is cold enough that one can hold it. When the
last fumes are burning, they may be very hard to see, feel it out with your hand!
• Wash your hands if you have been in contact with the fuel (methylated spirit) before you cook.
Only an extremely small amount is necessary to ruin the taste of all your food! Always burn off
all the fuel in the burner if you are not sure that the gasket in the lid is completely tight!
• Always put the stove on a solid surface during the winter so that it does not melt down
in the snow.
• Always keep the burner in a bag when it is not used. Otherwise the burner might leave an
unpleasant flavour and scratch the saucepans.
Fire Hazard!
• Never use the spirit stove in cramped areas such as tents, caravans, boats, etc.
• Provide for good air ventilation and never leave the spirit stove unattended while in use.
