Drilling the holes for attaching the telescope to your concrete foundation
Take the included drilling template and place it on your concrete foundation.
The template needs to be placed in the correct orientation. Make sure that the ASA logo points roughly towards
the north direction, if the observatory is located in the northern hemisphere. If the observatory is on the
southern hemisphere, the logo has to point towards the south direction.

After placing the template in the right place and orientation, mark the positions for the drill holes by using a
marker. Then remove the template.
Drill the holes in 2 steps. Begin with an 8mm concrete drill.
