5.7. Legato vs. Retrigger note response
There's a secondary Shift function that allows you to decide how you want the MiniBrute 2 to
respond when notes are played in a legato fashion (i.e., a second note is played before the
first note is released). There are two possible responses: with the Legato setting the notes do
not retrigger, and with the Retrigger setting the notes do retrigger.
Retrig mode will restart the envelopes from their Attack stages unless a cable is plugged into
one of the Trig inputs in the patch bay.
To toggle between Legato and Retrigger response, hold the Shift button and press the
highest E on the keyboard.
