Functional Description

COMX-P40x0 ENP2 Installation and Use (6806800R95B

)

72

The second group is called EMI2 which complies with IEEE 802.3ae Clause 45 and is used for 
management of SERDES connections configured for 10GE (XAUI). EMI2 has two pins: 

EMI2_MDC and EMI2_MDIO

. External PHY access is performed through the 10GEC registers 

of FM1. EMI2 is based on +1.2V signaling levels.
