Safety Requirements
This product complies with directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain
hazardous substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment.
Energy Consumption
In accordance with Ecodesign Directive 2005/32/EC, this device is equipped with a power
switch. The following energy consumption figures apply (measured with a wattmeter at the
outlet):

Note: In most instances, ARRIS recommends that the power switch remain in the ON
position at all times. Turning the switch OFF disables the device, including both data
service and telephone service. Turning the switch OFF is recommended only during
vacations or similar extended absences.
