Purpose
CLI Command
Clears all cable modem information from the history log whether a cable
modem has been throttled or not. It clears the history for all upstream
protocol throttling (i.e., all protocol types).
clear cable proto-throttle history
Displays the number of ARP/ND requests and ARP/ND reply packets
dropped respectively for the devices that are being monitored and
counted. This command also provides the option to display only those
devices that have dropped more than a specified minimum number of
ARP/ND packets.
show cable proto-throttle [detail]

Examples of the use of the cable throttling commands are provided in the following paragraphs.
Enable IPv4 Throttling DHCP
Use the following command to enable throttling of cable-side IPv4 DHCP requests:
configure cable proto-throttle dhcp
Disable IPv6 ND Throttling
Use the following command to disable throttling of cable-side IPv6 ND packets:
configure cable proto-throttle nd no
Provision Interval of Throttling
Use the following command to provision the interval rate of throttling:
configure cable proto-throttle interval 8
