3.1 DESCRIPTION AND USE OF OPERATOR’S CONTROLS AND

INDICATORS

NOTE:

The PVS-14 is a precision electro-optical instrument, and must be handled carefully. If the equipment

fails to operate, refer to the Troubleshooting Procedures in Chapter 4.

3.1.1. OPERATOR CONTROLS AND INDICATORS

The PVS-14 is designed to adjust for different users and corrects for most differences in eyesight. The

controls and indicators for the PVS-14 are shown in Figure 3-1, and are described in Table 3-1.
