CONTROLS AND FEATURES
See Figure 4 for all controls and features
locations.
Engine Switch
The engine switch has
two positions:
1. OFF
Engine will not start or
run.
2. ON
Engine will start and run.
Choke Control Knob
1. START
(Choke Closed):
Chokes off air to
engine for easier
starting.
2. RUN
(Choke Open):
Allows for normal
operation.
IMPORTANT:
Gradually open choke after
engine starts.
Fuel Shut-off Valve
IMPORTANT:
The fuel shut-off valve MUST
be in the closed (off) position before
transporting the unit. The valve is closed
when it is narrow and vertical when viewed
from above.
The fuel shut-off
valve has two
positions:
1. OFF
Use this position
to service,
transport or store
the unit.
2. ON
Use this position
to run the unit.
Primer Bulb
(Item 17)
Pushing primer bulb adds fuel to engine for
easier start. See
Recoil Starter Handle
When pulled, handle will start engine. See
IMPORTANT:
Do not let handle snap back
against handlebar.
Electric Start Button
Models 938032, 033, 034
When pushed, button will start a properly
choked and cranked engine. See
Discharge Chute
(Item 8)
Turn discharge chute handle (Item 6) to
control direction of snow discharge.
