8.2.1.5 Data Backup
The priority of the PTMSO is always the transfer of data to the cloud. However, it may happen
that no Internet connection is available, e.g. through
poor reception (WLAN or LTE)
switched off WLAN router
expired data volume for a prepaid card
deactivated online connection in the TMSO.CU
For such a case the TMSO.CU has an internal flash memory. It stores a data backup with the
following contents:
The configuration that was set during activation, including the project data (corresponds
to the content of the configuration file in the cloud)
The latest status information of the last few days (corresponds to the content of the log
files in the cloud)
Captured measurement data (corresponds to the content of the measurement data files
in the cloud), but only those that could not actually be transferred to the cloud (to save
storage space)
CAUTION!
The backup memory is deleted and rewritten each time the system is activated. Important data
must therefore be read out in advance!
The contents of the backup memory can be read out via the TMS.Software if the TMSO.CU is
connected to the PC via USB. See chapter
4.6.2.3 in the TMS.Software manual
