18.14  Replacing the Gas Valve

Step 2:

 Unplug the colored wires from the valve.

Before you begin:

• 

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing

•  Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the power supply (including backup batteries)

• 

Open the Control Access Door (see 

Section 6.4

)

Step 3:

 Unplug the valve motor from the control board.
