18.12 Replacing the Burner
Step 1:
Remove the wingnut from the air shutter
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Check operation of air shutter when reinstalling the burner.

Before you begin:
•
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing
• Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the
power supply (including backup batteries)
•
Open the door with barrier screen (see
Section 6.3
)
•
Remove the logset (see
Section 16
)
•
Remove the panel set (if installed, see
Section 15
)
•
Remove the Burner Surround (see
Section 18.11
)
•
Open the Control Access Door (see
Section 6.4
)
Step 2:
Remove the (2) tek screws securing the burner to the
bottom of the firebox.

Step 3:
Slide the burner to the right and lift to remove.

Pull the air shutter from the mixing tube on the burner to
be used on the new burner.

Final steps:

Resupply gas to the fireplace
•
Resupply power to the fireplace
•
Light the fireplace and check for operation and flame
