Installation

13.2  Supplying Gas

Before you begin:

• 

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing

•  Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the power supply (including backup batteries)

Step 1:

 Run the gas line to the rear, right side of the fireplace.

Step 2:

 A 3/8" pipe is connected to the gas valve and extends 

outside the back side of the fireplace (see 

Figure 13.2.02

). 

Connect the gas line to the pipe and tighten.

Step 3:

 Turn on the gas to the appliance and check for leaks.
