Maintenance

Before you begin:

• 

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing

•  Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the 

power supply (including backup batteries)

• 

Remove barrier screen (see 

Section 6.3

)

• 

Remove glass door (see 

Section 6.4

)

• 

Remove burner media (see 

Section 16.0

)

• 

Remove panel set (if applicable - see 

Section 15.0

)

• 

Remove the masking plate (see 

Section 18.12

)

18.13  Removing the Burner Surround

Step 1:

 Remove the pilot shield by gripping the edges and pulling 

up.
