Installation

13.2  Supplying Gas

Before you begin:

• 

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing

• 

Disconnect power supply to the fireplace (including backup batteries)

• 

Remove the barrier screen (see 

Section 6.3

)

• 

Remove the wire cover (see 

Section 6.5

)

• 

Slide the left side sliding access door back and slide the valve out (see 

Section 6.5

)

Step 1:

 Locate the flex line and split grommet included in the 

manual bag.

Figure 13.2.01:

Step 2:

 Slip the flex line through the hole in the top of the valve 

slider as shown from the top of the bracket.

Figure 13.2.02:

Step 3:

 The grommet is split to allow it to slip over the gas line. 

Add the grommet and push it back to snap into place in the hole.

Step 4:

 Connect the gas line to the shut-off valve on the flex line.

 Use two 3/4" wrenches to connect the flex line to the valve.
