Installation
6. 4 Ac c e s s i n g t h e C o n t r o l Bo a r d
The control board is located on the right side of the fireplace, behind
the fireplace surround (see
Se c t i o n 6. 1
). To access the control
board:
1.
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool.
2.
Disconnect power supply.
3.
Remove Fireplace Surround.

The
36-DVIE40LN-1
comes complete with an adjustable 6 speed fan and variable lights wired directly to the main control module.
Do not cut or remove the grounding prong from the main power supply plug.
C AU TION:
Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing.
NOTE:
This appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes,
with the National Electrical Code, ANSI / NFPA 70, or the Canadian Electrical code, CSA C22.1.

The valve is located on the left side of the fireplace, behind the
fireplace surround (see
Se c t i o n 6. 1
). To access the valve:
1.
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool.
2.
Disconnect power supply.
3.
Remove Fireplace Surround.
