20. 14 Re p l a c i n g Li g h t Ba s e s
The steps below describe the process for replacing the left side light base in the
36-DVIE40LN-1
. The process is identical no matter
which light base is being replaced.
No t e :
we recommend replacing both light bulbs when replacing the light bases.
St e p 1:
Remove the (12) Tek screws securing the rear fireplace
panel.

Be f o r e y o u b e g i n :
•
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing.
•
Disconnect power supply (including back-up battery power)
to the fireplace.
•
Turn off gas supply.
•
Remove the fireplace surround.
•
Remove barrier screen. See

Remove door assembly. See

Remove burner media. See

Remove panel set (if applicable). See

Remove light bulbs.

Remove the fireplace from the masonry opening
St e p 2:
Remove the (3) Tek screws securing the light wiring
shield.
