20. 10 Re m o v i n g t h e In t a k e Re s t r i c t o r
Be f o r e y o u b e g i n :
•
Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing
•
Disconnect power supply (including back-up battery power) to the fireplace
•
Turn off gas supply
•
Remove the fireplace surround. See

•
Remove barrier screen. See
Se c t i o n 14. 0
•
Remove door assembly. See
Se c t i o n 15. 0
•
Remove burner media. See
Se c t i o n 18 . 0
•
Remove panel set (if applicable). See
Se c t i o n 17 . 0
•
Remove the burner. See

St e p 1:
Remove the (2) Tek screws securing the rear firebox
panel.

Remove the rear firebox panel.

Remove the (5) Tek screws securing the burner support
bracket.

Remove the burner support bracket.

Remove the (4) Tek screws securing the restrictor plate
and remove the plate.
St e p 6:
Reinstall the (4) Tek screws that were removed in Step 5.
St e p 7 :
Reinstall the burner support bracket and rear firebox
panel.
St e p 8 :
Reinstall the panel set, burner media, door assembly,
barrier screen, and fireplace surround.
St e p 9 :
Resupply gas and power. Verify proper operation.
