Maintenance

18.6  Replacing Batteries

18.7  Replacing Fuse

1. 

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing.

2. 

Disconnect power supply to the fireplace (including 

backup batteries).

3. 

Turn off gas supply.

4. 

Remove the barrier screen (see 

Section 6.3

).

5. 

Remove the valve access cover (see 

Section 6.5

).

6. 

Remove the battery holder from the side of the control board.

7. 

Replace the batteries and wrap in the velcro strap.

8. 

Light the fireplace to verify proper operation. Resupply power 

once fireplace operation has been confirmed.

9. 

Replace the valve access cover and barrier screen.

Battery Specifications:

 4 x AA Batteries

1. 

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing.

2. 

Disconnect power supply to the fireplace (including backup 

batteries).

3. 

Turn off gas supply.

4. 

Remove the barrier screen (see 

Section 6.3

).

5. 

Remove the valve access cover (see 

Section 6.5

).

6. 

Remove the fuse holder from the control board.

7. 

Replace the fuse with one which has the same specifications 

using the existing fuse holder.

8. 

Resupply power and light the fireplace to verify proper operation.

9. 

Replace the valve access cover and barrier screen.
