Qualification of personnel
5.1
Packing and storage may only be carried out by a warehouse clerk as defined in this manual. See
Chapter 2.7.5 Safety, Personnel requirements, Warehouse clerk.
The transport may only be carried out by a carrier as defined in this manual. See chapter 2.7.4

Packaging
5.2
The packaging protects against damage and dirt until the time of installation.
The device must not be packed airtight. The ventilation prevents condensation.
Dispose of used packaging materials in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions and
local regulations.
Transport
5.3
CAUTION!
Risk of injury due to high weight
Tilting or dropping the VECTOPOWER
can cause injuries such as crushing or bruising.
•
Only use lifting equipment that is suitable and approved for the weight (e.g., forklifts, lift
trucks) and lifting gear.
•
No persons or body parts may be under the suspended load during lifting and transport.
•
Wear suitable personal protective equipment such as safety shoes.

Note on material damage
The VECTOPOWER is damaged by rough mechanical loads (shocks, vibrations).
•
Prevent the device from falling down, dropping, or being thrown.
During transport, the ambient conditions specified in the technical data must be observed. In
particular, the formation of condensation in the VECTOPOWER must be prevented. Condensation
is formed by high temperature fluctuations, for example.
The VECTOPOWER must not be transported in an environment with aggressive or metallic vapors
or other harmful substances or radiation. Other harmful substances include fogged oils, acids,
gases, vapors, or dusts.
