PROGRAMMING
1. Plug the chiller into a dedicated GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) protected 115V (60Hz)
electrical outlet. The power button
will come on and the LCD operating plate will display the
current water temperature.
2. Press the “SET” button to adjust to the desired temperature.
3. Press
▲ to increase the temperature and ▼ to decrease temperature.
4. The chiller begins to operate at a temperature that is 2
˚F below the actual water
temperature. After approximately 2-3 minutes of warm-up, the chiller will begin normal
operation.
5. The “COOL” display will illuminate when the chiller is in operation.
HEATER CONTROL
1. The chiller’s temperature controller can also control any 110v submersible aquarium heater
(max 300 watts). The temperature controller setting for the heater and the chiller should be
set to the same temperature.
2. Install the submersible heater (not included) into sump or aquarium and use a drip loop so
that water will not drip into the heater port.
3. Connect the heater to the port located on the back side of the chiller. The heater will begin
operating at a temperature that is 2
˚F below the
set water temperature due to the fact that
the chiller’s default temperature differential is 2
˚F.
4. The “HEAT” display will illuminate when the heater is in operation.

at the factory for safety and proper operation prior to shipment. Read and follow the
safety rules before installation, operation and performing routine maintenance.
